What We Knew: Tennesseans and the Holocaust
This program investigates the persecution of the Jewish people by the Nazis from the 1933-1945. Simultaneously, it asks the question, "What did Tennesseans Know?"
Delving into this topic, we interactively explore the knowledge, actions and reactions of Tennesseans at the time during the era. The event concludes with audiences able to participate in the Wings of Hope project—a statewide initiative to remember the stories of our local survivors and liberators.
