How Much is that Cure in the Window

Have you ever wondered how to tackle seemingly impossible questions using just a bit of logic and back-of-the-envelope math? Join local author Dr. Shaun Comfort creator of How Much Is That Cure In the Window?— for an interactive journey into the fascinating world of "Fermi problems." In this engaging session, we will demystify the art of estimation by breaking down three distinct real-world Bio-Healthcare puzzles: calculating the total breaths in a human lifetime, estimating the G-force of a football tackle, and unpacking the likely cost of Universal Health Care. Whether you are a retired engineer or simply a curious thinker, you'll leave with a powerful mental toolkit for estimating the world around you.

Presented by Shaun Comfort MD, MBA
